Warmington Heritage Group meets about eight times a year in the Village Hall, usually on the second Monday of the month. Refreshments are served before the meeting which starts at 7.30pm.
We combine the role of a local history and research group with an archaeology society, with our members having interests in either or both areas.
We usually have around four external speakers a year, presentations from our own membership for a further two, an archaeology round-up at our AGM and a social event in December.
In addition we have two visits to interesting historical sites and a walk and talk round a local village.
For the past few years we have held a free archaeology event at the National Herb Centre, where the public has the opportunity to learn about the fascinating excavation work taking place.
This is held as part of the National Festival of British Archaeology and is on Sunday July 21st 2013.

Annual membership is £10 and visitors are always welcome at any of our meetings.
