Be Confident and Assertive 11th May
Be confident and assertive course commencing Wednesday 11th May 2011 for 5 sessions 11am -1pm.
Broughton Castle and the Tudor Country House 11th June
The course will look at Broughton Castle as an example of a Tudor Country House. The morning will be spent in the classroom and the afternoon will be a visit to Broughton Castle.
The Castle has been in numerous films such as: Shakespeare in Love; the Madness of King George, as well as Three Men and a Little Lady.
On Saturday 11th June 2011, there will be a History Day course on Broughton Castle as well as an especially arranged guided tour.
The owners, Lord and Lady Saye and Sele have agreed to open the Castle specially on this Saturday for booked groups.
All are welcome to join us on this course.
The course will be held at Hanwell Fields Community Hall, Hanwell Fields, Banbury, and will begin at 10 am and at 1.15pm students will make their way to Broughton Castle for the Guided tour and look round the grounds.
The cost of the course is £20 - this includes teaching, entrance to the Castle and the guided tour.
Optional Tea /coffee and cake £4 - This has to be paid at time of booking. Book now for a place.
